- Date of purchase (in case of membership, current or immediately preceding month’s payment date)
- Cost of purchase
- Description of purchase (itemized details of what was purchased)
- Merchant Name
Alternative Proofs of Payment
Depending on your company’s reimbursement policy, the following may also be accepted as long as it clearly shows the above required information:
- Bank statements
- Credit card statements
- Digital payment records (e.g., Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Zelle, Facebook Pay)
Submission that could lead to delay or rejection
- Blurred or unreadable receipts
- Blank or incomplete receipts
- Corrupted or password-protected files
- Receipts without itemization
- Files in unsupported formats
