What is the Runout Period?
The Runout Period Ends date is the final day you can submit reimbursement requests for expenses from your previous plan year.
To view your plan year:
- Click on your Thrive Account wallet.
- If a plan year applies, it will appear in parentheses next to the wallet name.
Example:
If your plan year is January 2025 – December 2025 and the run out period is 1//15/2026, the last day to submit reimbursements for 2025 expenses is January 15, 2026.
Requests submitted after the run out period date shown on the wallet will not be approved.
What if my request is incomplete?
If you submit a request on or before your run out period date, but it’s missing documentation, this request may be subject to denial/cancellation. Please note complete documentation is always required for reimbursement approval.
What about purchases made after the plan year ends?
Any purchases made after December 31, 2025 must be submitted under your next year’s plan.
- If you have access to the Marketplace, you can only shop until December 31, 2025.
- If you still have funds after this date, you must submit a reimbursement request showing a purchase made before December 31, 2025.
