Why does ThrivePass ask for an alternate email address on file?

If you have a membership with one of our Marketplace partners, you have the option to keep your membership active through ThrivePass in the event you leave your employer, so it’s important that we have a way to get in contact should you prefer to make a change to your membership. We promise never to sell your personal information to anyone. If you ever leave your employer, your alternate email becomes your new username so you can manage your membership. It's important to note that your alternate email only needs to be verified if you have an active marketplace membership.
