Password and Login Help

Modified on Tue, Apr 21 at 12:21 PM

This article covers everything you need to know about changing, resetting, and troubleshooting your ThrivePass password and login access.

Can I Change My Password?

You can change your ThrivePass password if your company allows standard email and password login.
If your company uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you must update your password directly through the platform you use to sign in, such as Google, Okta, or Microsoft. ThrivePass cannot change SSO passwords.
To change your password (non-SSO users):
  1. Log in at app.thrivepass.com
  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu
  3. Click Reset Password
  4. Follow the prompts to create a new password

I Forgot My Password. What Should I Do?

If your company uses standard login (email and password):
  1. Go to app.thrivepass.com and click Log In
  2. Enter your company email address and click Next
  3. Select Forgot Password?
  4. Enter the email associated with your account and click Next
You will receive an email from donotreply@thrivepass.com with instructions to reset your password. If you do not see the email, please check your spam or junk folder.

I Tried to Reset My Password but Received a Registration Email

If you receive a registration email instead of a password reset, this usually means you did not previously set a password. This can happen if you originally logged in using Single Sign-On and that option is no longer available.
To regain access, complete the registration process to set a password. Your previous account activity will still be available once registration is complete.

What Are the Password Requirements?

Passwords must:
  • Be at least 8 characters long
  • Include any 3 of the following:
    • Uppercase letters
    • Lowercase letters
    • Numbers
    • Symbols
If your company uses Single Sign-On, password requirements are determined by your SSO provider, and ThrivePass cannot reset or modify those passwords. For SSO password changes, please contact your IT team.

I’m Having Issues Logging in With Single Sign-On

If you are experiencing trouble logging in via SSO, try the following steps:
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Make sure your browser is up to date
  • Try logging in using an Incognito or Private window
  • Confirm you are following your company’s correct SSO login flow
If the issue continues, please submit a support ticket and our team will assist you further.
