Wishlist lets you sign in using either your email or your phone number. Adding a phone number to your account simply enables this option.
Note: This phone number is separate from the one used for two-factor authentication (2FA), which is covered in the next section.
When you log in with your phone number, you won’t need a password. Instead, you’ll receive a one-time passcode (OTP) to access your account.
How to Add Your Phone Number
1. Log in to your Wishlist account.
2. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. From the dropdown menu, select My Profile.
4. Navigate to the Contact section.
5. You’ll see your Primary Email, Recovery Email (if added), and Phone Number here.
6. If you haven’t added a phone number yet, this field will be blank.
7. Click Edit Contact (as shown in the screenshot) and enter your phone number.
8. Click Verify to confirm it.
9. You’ll receive a text message with an OTP. Enter the OTP in the fields provided on your profile screen.
Once verified, you’ll be able to log in using your phone number.
2FA Using Your Phone Number
If you’re using your phone number for two-factor authentication (2FA), keep in mind that updating your phone number in your profile does not automatically update your 2FA settings.
If you’ve recently changed your phone number, please contact us at support@enjoywishlist.com, and we’ll help reset your 2FA so you can add your new number.
