Modified on Fri, Jun 5 at 12:47 PM

If you would like to transfer funds from your previous Health Savings Account (HSA) to your new ThrivePass HSA, follow the steps below to ensure a smooth and successful transfer process.

Step 1: Complete the Transfer of Assets Form

  • Download and complete the HSA Transfer of Assets Form
  • Provide the following information:
    • Your new ThrivePass HSA account details
    • Your previous HSA provider’s account information
    • Your signature and date

Important:
You must send the completed form directly to your previous HSA custodian, not to ThrivePass.

Step 2: Liquidate Existing Investments

Most HSA custodians require that all invested funds be liquidated (sold) before the transfer can be processed.

  • Contact your previous HSA provider for specific instructions
  • Confirm that all investments have been fully liquidated before submitting your transfer request

Step 3: Review Potential Transfer Fees

Be aware that many HSA custodians charge a transfer-out fee, which is typically:

  • Around $25 (may vary by provider)
  • Deducted directly from your HSA balance before the transfer is completed

Step 4: Locate Your ThrivePass HSA Account Number

Before initiating the transfer, you’ll need your ThrivePass HSA account number.

To find your account number:

  1. Log in to ? app.thrivepass.com
  2. Navigate to:
    Your Benefits → Personal Dashboard
  3. Click the eye icon to reveal your full 13-digit HSA account number

Transfer with Confidence

Following these steps will help ensure your HSA funds are transferred efficiently and without delays, so you can continue managing your healthcare savings through ThrivePass.
