What’s a PayMarked Card & How Do I Get One?

Think of a PayMarked card like a debit card, but just for your rewards! It’s not tied to your bank, and once the balance is used up, that’s it — the card’s done. Super simple.

To get one, head to the Wishlist Marketplace and search for PayMarked Mastercard. You can choose a virtual or physical card, whichever works best for you!

Here’s everything you need to know about using your PayMarked Mastercard

Virtual PayMarked Card

  • Great for online purchases only

  • Can’t be added to Apple Wallet

  • Cannot be used for recurring payments (subscriptions)

  • U.S. purchases only

  • Cannot be linked to your bank 

  • No InstaCart 

ETA - After ordering, it takes about 4–5 days to process. Once ready, you’ll get an email and can access your card info in your Wishlist account, in the "my orders" section under Rewards. Then activate it on getmybalance.com, set up your account, and you’re good to go!

 

Physical Paymarked Card

Your physical card can be used both online and in-store wherever Mastercard's are accepted! Just keep these rules in mind:


    • No recurring payments 
    • Can’t be linked to your bank account 
    • No InstaCart purchases 
    • U.S. merchants only 
    • Cannot be added to Apple Wallet 

ETA - We'll send you an email with the subject “Your Physical PayMarked Mastercard is Processing!”—that means things are officially in motion! It’ll take about 1-2 weeks for the card to be processed, so, during this time you won’t be able to access the card details or use it virtually. Your card arrives in a plain white envelope (don’t toss it! no tracking available) Activate the card on getmybalance.com, set up your account, and you’re good to go!

What happens to the card after the expiry date ? 

In a nutshell, it expires! These are single-use, time-bound cards, so if you grab a card for $400 and don’t use it before it expires... well, poof—it’s gone for good!  Neither the funds can be transferred to a new card, nor can the expiry date be changed. So, make sure to use them before the clock runs out!
