What’s a PayMarked Card?
A PayMarked card works just like a debit card but it's only for your rewards! Once you order a card for your desired balance, you can use it for purchases outside the Wishlist Marketplace. Since it's not tied to your Wishlist wallet, and once the balance runs out, the card is done. You can't recharge it.
How to order Paymarked Mastercard?
If your employer has opted into this offering, you should be able to redeem your rewards for this, just navigate to the Wishlist Marketplace and search for PayMarked Mastercard. You will be presented with options for both Virtual Paymarked Card and Physical one. Select the card type that best suits your preferences and usage needs, specify your desired card value, and submit your order.

ETA: After placing your order, it typically takes approximately 2-5 days for your card to be processed and issued. The exact timeline depends on the volume of pending orders. Once your card is ready, you will receive an email notification. You can then access your card details in your Wishlist account under My Orders > Rewards. Finally, activate your card on getmybalance.com, set up your account, and you're all set.
Physical PayMarked Card
Your physical card can be used both online and in-store wherever Mastercard's are accepted! Just keep these rules in mind:
- No recurring payments
- Can’t be linked to your bank account
- No InstaCart purchases
- U.S. merchants only
- Cannot be added to Apple Wallet
ETA: You will receive an email with the subject line "Your Physical PayMarked Mastercard is Processing!" this confirms that your order is officially in motion. Processing typically takes approximately 1-2 weeks, during which you will not be able to access your card details or use it virtually. Your card will arrive in a plain white envelope. Please note that tracking is not available, so retain your envelope for reference. Once received, activate your card on getmybalance.com, set up your account, and you're all set.
What happens to the card after the expiry date?
These are single-use, time-bound cards with expiration dates. Once a card expires, the funds are forfeited and cannot be recovered. For example, if you order a $400 card and do not use it before the expiration date, those funds will be lost permanently. Please note that funds cannot be transferred to a new card, and expiration dates cannot be extended.
Just a heads up, you have six months from the date of delivery to activate your card. If you do not activate it within this timeframe, the card will automatically expire, and the funds will be forfeited.
