There are 3 different vaccination statuses - Fully Vaccinated, Partially Vaccinated and Unvaccinated. Please continue reading for further information regarding these statuses.
1. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks (14 days) after receiving all of their primary doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. For the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, this is 14 days after your second dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine. For Johnson & Johnson, this is 14 days after your single COVID-19 vaccine. Boosters are not currently required to be considered "Fully Vaccinated". If you have received one dose of the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, or 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer Vaccine, please submit your vaccine verification by following the steps outlined in this article: I am fully vaccinated. How do I submit my vaccine for verification?
2. Individuals are considered partially vaccinated when they have received one dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 Vaccines. Employees are also considered partially vaccinated if the 14-day waiting period has not lapsed since their final dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine.
- Example: An employee received their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine 8 days ago. They will only be considered "Fully Vaccinated" after 14 days has passed from the day they received their final dose.
If you have only received one dose and will need to receive another dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine, please submit your Vaccine Verification by following the steps outlined in this article: I am partially vaccinated. How do I submit my vaccine for verification?
3. Individuals are considered unvaccinated if they have not received any dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine, and/or if they do not plan on receiving a COVID-19 Vaccine. If an employee has an exemption (Medical or Religious) from the vaccine, they are still considered unvaccinated and must adhere to all rules that apply to unvaccinated individuals, such as weekly testing and mask-at-work policies. Please note that your company may have their own requirements for unvaccinated employees. To submit your Vaccine Exemption for verification, please follow the steps outlined in this article: I have an exemption from being vaccinated. How do I submit my exemption?
